About
The College of Architecture at Kuwait University was established via an Amiri Decree No. (390), issued on October 19, 2010. The Executive Office of the College was established following the Presidential Decree No. (1945), dated July 28, 2011, that paved the way for establishing the College of Architecture. The College envisions to be a leader in the Gulf region through the provision of high-quality education that produces responsible architecture and design professionals, capable of exploring innovative solutions through unique and effective architectural and design ideas.
The College’s aim is to prepare a prominent human capital characterized by their exceptional knowledge and to lead in scientific research that serves the local and international communities. Our programs encourage global outreach through research, consultation and training. The admission policy requires the successful completion of secondary school in a science track or an equivalent degree, with a minimum overall score of 80%. Priority of acceptance is accorded to students with the highest (GPA) in secondary school, and Kuwait University aptitude test results. The College has two scientific departments -- Department of Architecture and Department of Visual Communication & Interiors.
